Al-Maliki: Houthi militia fires ballistic missile from Amran towards Saudi Arabia

The Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia on Tuesday, fired a ballistic missile from the province of Amran, which then fell in Saada, coalition spokesman Col. Turki Al-Maliki said.

The Houthis continue to violate international humanitarian law by indiscriminately firing ballistic missiles targeting civilians, Al-Maliki said in a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

“The leadership of the joint coalition forces continue to take strict and deterrent measures to neutralize and destroy these ballistic capabilities to protect civilians inside Yemen, and to protect regional and international security,” Al-Maliki stressed.
