The Yemeni National Army forces thwarted a number of penetration attempts to their sites by the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in the south of Hodeida province, west of the country.
The Houthi militia, late on Monday, tried several times to sneak into the army positions in the Duraihmi district south of the province. However, the militia were defeated and suffered heavy losses in members while the rest fled.
The Houthi militia continuously violate the UN ceasefire by targeting civilians and the positions of the national army in the province of Hodeidah, while the army has been fully committed to the ceasefire, in accordance with the directives of the political and military leadership.
