Army advances in Al-Jawf, liberates new positions

The national army troops continue to advance in Sabreen front, east of Al-Jawf province, amid widespread collapses among the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia, who are fleeing.

Brig. Sadiq Al-Okaimi Chief of Staff of Al-Jawf Axis said in a statement to September Net that the army has tightened its control over the positions of Um Al-Hajjar and Sabrin mountains in Khub and Al-Shaaf district, denying that the militia had recovered as promoted in its media.

He pointed out that the national army’s artillery has targeted the positions of the Houthi militia in Al-Taeraa and Al-Jabali mountains, where the militia inflicted heavy losses.

For his part, Col. Rabih Al-Qurashi in the brigade 155, that the army was able to advance and control a number of positions in the same front, including the site of Al-Twilat, where the militia inflicted heavy losses in lives and equipment.

He pointed out that the national army engineering teams have cleared more than 500 landmines, planted by the Houthi militia, in a failed attempt to hinder the progress of the national army troops.
