Houthi rebel militia inflicted heavy losses western Marib

The Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia suffered heavy losses of equipment and lives in the past hours during the battles between the militia and the Yemen’s armed forces with direct support from coalition west of Marib province.

A military field commander told September Net that the fighting, which has been raging for more than two weeks west of Marib, has caused significant losses among the Houthi militia and its combat equipment.

He added that the fighting intensified on Tuesday with air strikes of Arab coalition fighters targeted the militants’ reinforcements west of Marib, killing and wounding a number of them and destroying some combat equipment.
