The Armed Forces’ air defense units on Wednesday shot down an explosive-laden drone launched by the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia as it attempted to target military positions south of Taiz Governorate.

A military source in the Tor Al-Baha Axis told September Net that air defense units successfully detected the hostile drone, engaged it, and brought it down before it could reach its intended target.

The source affirmed that the Houthi terrorist militia continues its failed attempts to target Armed Forces positions using drones as part of its ongoing escalation and repeated violations of the truce, praising the vigilance and combat readiness of Armed Forces personnel across various frontlines.

The military source reiterated that the Armed Forces maintain full operational readiness to confront any attacks or hostile acts and will respond firmly to any threat targeting their positions or the security and stability of the liberated areas.
