Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Taher al-Aqaili chaired an expanded meeting on Sunday in the interim capital, Aden, attended by his deputies, the Deputy Inspector General, and department heads.
The meeting reviewed the latest battlefield developments and the military situation on various combat fronts amid continued escalation by the Houthi terrorist militia.
The Defense Minister praised the coordination among the various military formations and their effective unified stance in confronting threats and challenges.
He commended the bravery and sacrifices of Yemeni Armed Forces personnel and their victories on several fronts in confronting the Houthi terrorist militia.
He stressed the need to maintain high levels of readiness, vigilance, and discipline, as well as continued coordination among military units to strengthen their ability to address challenges until victory is achieved, state institutions are restored, and security and stability are consolidated throughout Yemen
