Foreign Minister Khaled Alyemany discussed on Sunday with Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah the latest developments about the situations in Yemen.
The two officials also discussed the Houthi militia’s continuous atrocities of killing civilians, besieging cities and destroying the country’s infrastructure in different Yemeni provinces.
Alyemany said that Houthi rebels are deliberately using the foot-dragging approach towards their overdue obligations under the Stockholm Agreement, noting the Houthis are refusing to withdraw from the Red Sea port and city of Hodeidah and to allow the access of humanitarian aid.
Alyemany appreciated the Kuwait political and humanitarian support to Yemen including the latest pledge of $250 million in the UN-organized donor conference for Yemen in Geneva.
