Arab, International Support Reaffirms Yemen’s Unity and Backs Saudi Efforts to De-escalate in Hadramawt and Al-Mahra

A number of Arab and international parties have reaffirmed their support for the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Republic of Yemen, and for the legitimate government led by the Presidential Leadership Council, while stressing the importance of de-escalation and supporting efforts aimed at restoring security and stability.
The Arab Republic of Egypt reiterated its unwavering support for the legitimate government in Yemen, emphasizing the importance of preserving state institutions and safeguarding the resources of the Yemeni people, noting that this contributes to restoring stability in Yemen and the region and ensures freedom of navigation in the Red Sea. Egypt also expressed its appreciation for efforts aimed at de-escalation and preventing further deterioration of the situation.
For its part, the United Kingdom reaffirmed its support for Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity, stressing that it is closely monitoring developments and continues to support diplomatic efforts in coordination with its partners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the Yemeni government to reach a swift resolution.
The Sultanate of Oman commended the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the relevant parties to address the situation in the governorates of Hadramawt and Al-Mahra, calling for avoiding escalation, returning to the political process, and engaging in comprehensive political dialogue to consolidate security, stability, and peace in Yemen.
Similarly, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan welcomed the statement issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding the recent developments in Hadramawt and Al-Mahra, affirming its support for efforts aimed at strengthening security and stability, advancing de-escalation, and progressing the political process, while stressing the importance of concerted Arab and international efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution that guarantees Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity.
In this context, the Arab Parliament reaffirmed its unwavering support for Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, as well as for the Yemeni government led by the Presidential Leadership Council, affirming its commitment to backing efforts aimed at enhancing security, stability, and development in Yemen.
