Prime Minister orders accelerating measures to pay unpaid salaries

The Prime Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani ordered the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) and the Ministry of Finance to swiftly make practical measures to pay the state’s employees, retirees ,martyrs and wounded servicemen their unpaid salaries.

Zindani gave his directives to the CBY and Finance Ministry during his meeting today, Sunday, with the Governor of the CBY Ahmed Ghaleb and the Vice Minister of Finance Hany Wahab.

The Prime Minister praised the significant support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, most recent of it $90 million aimed to help the government to pay the unpaid salaries of the state’s employees.
