PM, U.S. Ambassador discuss joint cooperation

The Prime Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani met on Monday with American Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Steven Fagin.

The meeting discussed Yemeni-American bilateral cooperation and the developments on the Yemeni national arena.

The conversations also touched on the top priorities of the government in the upcoming stage, namely improving basic services, ensuring the regular payment of the salaries of the government’s employees, improving living conditions and addressing economic and financial irregularities.

Dr. Zindani highlighted the need for the international partners’ support to help the government execute the needed economic reforms.

The American Ambassador confirmed his administration’s support for the government’s efforts to enable it to manage challenges and establish stability.
