AFED to contribute to finance reconstruction plan in Yemen

President of Arab Fund for Economic Development (AFED) Abdullatif al-Hamad stated that the AEFD is willing to contribute to finance Reconstruction and Economic Recovery Plan in Yemen.

Al-Hamad’s statement came as he met on Thursday with Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr Najeeb al-Aweg on the sidelines of Arab Financial Institutions’ meetings.

Al-Hamad affirmed that the AEFD can also help the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) developing its institutional capacities provided that a detailed plan put forward for this purpose.
