SeptemberNet- At least 19 members of the rebel militia, including a field commander, were killed and others injured in battles near Saudi Arabia’s southern border with Yemen.

The militant group tried to attack the border crossing with Saudi Arabia, but Saudi forces with air raids confronted the militias elements and inflicted them heavy losses.

Along with Saudi ground forces, border guards, Apache planes and F-15s, fought to break down militias elements, destroyed many of their positions.

The artillery of the Saudi forces was also involved in the battles, as were intensively shelling the positions of the militias close to the border strip and causing great damage.
