Army liberates several mountainous sites eastern Sana’a, 17 militiamen killed

National Army manged on Thursday to control fresh locations in the area of Nihm east of Sana’a, after fierce battles with Houthi-Saleh militias resulted in killing 17 militiamen from the latter.
The army troops continue their ground fighting against Houthi-Saleh militias’ positions stationed in Nihm district, recapturing strategic mountains and locations of militias, according to military sources.
Col. Abdullah al-Shandaki,Spokesman for seventh military region said that the national military managed to liberate the mountains of al-Aredah, al-Aswad, al-Reqab and Gerbat Melh, as well as the Green Hill, amid heavy ongoing fighting with the rebel putschists since the morning.
Fighting has resulted in killing seventeen Houthi-Saleh militias militants and wounding several more others, al-Shandaki added.
Arab Coalition aircraft launched also accurate air raids targeted militias’ reinforcements in the same areas, destroying five military patrols and three BMB armed vehicles, in addition to great deal of ammunition, according to the spokesman.
