About 3,000 landmines removed in Saada

The National Army has removed about 3,000 landmines and improvised explosives devices in Baqem’s Mandabh of Saada province.
The Demining Teams’ leader, 1st Lieutenant Sultan Shamsan told September Net that Houthi militia planted those landmines and explosives devices in 10 Km small area before the army drove them out of it.
He added that the rebels turned remains of missiles and shells to remotely detonated landmines making them look like as rocks, endangering civilians’ lives in the future.
Just a week ago, experts in the national army removed as many as 4,000 landmines and improvised explosives devices in northern, the stronghold of the Houthi rebels militia, Saada.
