Saada,,, National Army keeps advancing in Baqem

National Army forces, backed by Saudi-led Arab coalition, continue its advancements against Houthi coup militia in Baqem district of Saada province for the third day in row.

A Military source told September Net that the army troops liberated on Sunday large parts of the mountain chain “Yafa’ Alsoghra”, “Yazher” hills, Wadi “Al-Thoban” and “Al-Hadeed” mountains, amid fierce battles with the Houthi militia.

The source said that the army forces have imposed blockade on the militia inside the center of Baqem from all sides.

Meanwhile, the Saudi-led Arab coalition warplanes carried out intensive air raids on the rebels movements and positions in the same district.

More than 30 elements of Houthi militia were killed, many more were wounded and several combat equipment destroyed in the battles and coalition raids.

National Army also captured a number of Houthi insurgents, including high-ranking field leaders.
