National Army forces made on Wednesday a new field advancement against Houthi militia in Hairan district in Hajjah, southwest the country.

Field sources told September Net, the army launched fierce ground offensive targeting sites belonging to the rebels militia on the vicinity of Wadi Hairan, liberating a number of sites following heavy confrontations in which the Houthi militants inflicted major losses in lives and materials.

Meanwhile, the army’s engineering teams removed today more than 600 different landmines planted by the rebels in the recently liberated areas to impede the progress of the army in Hairan.
