National Army troops made qualitative progress western Al-Jawf province freeing several mountainous chains from the rebels Houthi militias Saturday.

The operation Commander in Alhasm brigade, Col. Abdullah Matwan said to September Net that the National Army supported by the Arab Coalition air forces have regained control over the mountains of Alkab, Al-Eskat, Na’ad and Almotabek in Barat Alanan district after fierce battles against Houthi militias

Col. Matwan confirmed that the army troops inflicted the Houthi militias dozens killed and wounded in addition to a great deal of medium and heavy weapons the rebels left behind after they fled and retreated the battlefield.

He pointed out that the Houthi militias witnessed majore collapse and setback among their lines in Sa’ada and Al-Jawf provinces in which they were hit by human and financial losses, while the army keeps making significant advancements in different fronts of the provinces
