Army liberates fresh locations in Baqem, kills senior Houhi leaders
Forces of the National Army on Saturday have taken over a number of new locations and sites located in Baqem district, north of Saada province.
The army forces controlled over several positions in the mountain of Al-Ghara and its surroundings and liberated Baqem’s eastern Mahjar and advanced further reaching the suburb of Al-Sharaf neighborhood in the district’s center, Colonel Sulaiman Al-Huraibi told September Net.
Col. Al-Huraibi confirmed that the militia incurred dozens of killed and injured in its ranks, including prominent leaders, while a number of its vehicles were also destroyed, during the fierce battles.
He mentioned some of the leaders of the militia who were killed in those battles ; the so-called Naser Alhanbi, the officer of supplies; the so-called Ali Salem Alnwari, the officer of recruitment; the so-called Mohammed Jubran Althwaibi, the cultural supervisor; the so-called Abdulsalam Aldahaini, the reconnaissance officer; the so-called Nabil Mohammed Al-Hadi, the supervisor of snipers in Baqem, the so-called Abu Anwar Almatari, the supervisor of Storming groups, and the so-called Abdulghafor Alhadi and Ahmed Salah Kathan.
“Dozens of the militia’s dead bodies are scattered in the valleys, Al-Huraibi said, adding the army forces captured several elements from the rebels.
Col. Al-Huraibi also praised the role played by Arab coalition aircraft in supporting the army by bombing the sites and reinforcements of the Houthi putschist militias.
