Chief of the Army Staff Lt. Gen. Abdullah al-Nakha’ee has confirmed the Defense Ministry’s keenness to proceed with re-building the Armed Forces as per President Hadi’s directives and with backing of Arab Coalition

His remarks came during a meeting included senior military commanders in the interim capital Aden on Thursday.

Lt Gen al-Nakha’ee emphasized the need to unify military decision, raise the armed forces’ combat readiness and establish joint and command and control room.

The Chief of Staff was briefed by the attending military commanders on the latest developments in the battlefields, action plans of their departments and units as well as difficulties need to be addressed to get their missions done as demanded.
