Army detonates Houthi-laid mines in the western coast
Army’s demining teams extracted and destroyed large amounts of Houthi-laid landmines and explosives in the western coast, on Wednesday.
A source in the field told September Net that the landmines and explosive devices were removed from public roads, farms and houses in Al-Tohaita district of Hodeida province.
The source said the army has secured a safe return for about 5000 displaced people after clearing their areas from mines.
He pointed that military engineers continue to clear and demine liberated areas in the western coast to help families displaced by Houthi militia return safely to their homes.
