National army removes high explosive devices in Hadramout

National Army found on Tuesday a variety of high-explosive devices in the area of ​​ Al-Harashiyat in the northeast of Mukalla city in Hadramout province.

An engineering team from the 2nd military region removed 41 shells, some of which were buried underground.

The team cleared the area from any other explosives that may endanger the citizens or disturb the public peace.

The spokesman of the 2nd military region Hisham Al-Jabri said that the teams specialized in clearing mines and explosives were able to remove more than 80 tons of explosives planted by terrorist elements when the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda seized control of the districts of Hadramout three years ago.
