Mine Experts martyred in Explosion western Taiz

MASAM, the Saudi Project for Landmines Clearance in Yemen, has announced that six of its team deminers were martyred in a blast in a warehouse that was designed to restore defused mines in the port city of Mocha western Taiz.

The project said on its website that the six deminers, who were working for the Saudi Project, were killed on Thursday in an accidental blast in a warehouse for collecting defused mines and explosives.

One person working as a driver was also seriously injured.

The explosion occurred while mines were being collected for destruction.
