Army on Wednesday defeated an attack by Houthi militia in the direction of Hayes district south of Hodeidah province in the west of the country.

Militia elements attempted to advance towards army positions in Bani- Mghazi area north of the Hayes district.

The army forces countered the militia’s attempt and force it to flee, after getting several casualties.
