Army forces on Thursday launched ground attack on Houthi militia east of Taiz city, killing 12 elements, capturing two and destroying combat vehicles.

The national army also managed during the offensive to cleanse Al-Hamd Hospital and nearby buildings, making further advance towards after forcing the Houthi militia to retreat backward to the Al-Kasr roundabout, eastern the city.

A number of Houthi militiamen were injured in the fighting as well.
