National army forces repulsed an attack by Houthi militia south of Hodeida province

The rebel militiamen tried late on Friday to advance towards army positions in Tohaita district, but were defeated and forced to retreat after a number of them were killed and injured.

In the context, the Houthi militia had pushed large reinforcement of militants and combat vehicles towards Al-Jabalia region in the district of Tohaita, south of the province

The militia also continues its heavy shelling on national army positions with mortar rounds and artillery shells as well as gun machines in the district.
