The Arab Coalition backing Yemen’s government launched early on Saturday, a series of airstrikes on the air defenses and the ballistic missile depots sites of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia in Sana’a.
The spokesman of the Arab coalition Col. Turki Al-Maliki said the strikes are a continuation of the previous operations the Coalition carried out to destroy the air defense and strike capabilities of the Sana’a-based militia.
He told reporters the Coalition is committed to preventing the Houthis and any other terrorist group from possessing such capabilities which, in their hands, means a direct threat to the UN flights, air navigation and the lives of civilians.
He said the strike complies with the international humanitarian law.
