The engineering teams of the national army have destroyed large quantities of landmines planted by Houthi militia at civilians areas in Hodeidah.

These explosives, including rockets turned into mines by the militia, were previously removed and dismantled from Al-Mansa’a area in Aldurayhmi district, south of Hodeida province.

The army deminers are continuing unabated to clear the area from the rest of militia-laid landmines and explosives that still a danger laying in await for the civilians.

Hundreds of civilians mostly women and children have been killed and injured or maimed by landmines and explosives widely and randomly laid by the rebel Houthi militia in various regions of Hodeida province.
