A number of the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia elements were killed and wounded by the fire of the Yemeni national army in Kattaf front, east of Saada province, in the north of the country.
The clashes erupted after the Houthi militia elements attempted to infiltrate on Saturday evening towards the army positions at the entrance of the “Al-Fahlween” valley surrounding the center of Kattaf district.
The army thwarted the militia’s attempt, and forced them to flee, after many militants were killed and wounded.
In the same context, apache planes of the coalition supporting legitimate government targeted the positions and reinforcements of the Houthi rebel militia in the same area which resulted in heavy human and material losses on the militias’ side.
