Army prevents Houthi militia’s infiltration in Al-Jawf, after inflicting heavy losses

The national army, prevented late on Friday an infiltration attempt by the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in Barat Al-Anan, Al-Jawf province.

The commander of the First Brigade Border Guards in Al-Jawf province, Brig. Heikal Hantaf told September Net that a group of Houthi militia, tried to advance towards the army positions in the barley mountain range of Barat Al-Anan district.

He confirmed that the army forces repelled the militia’s attempt and forced them to retreat, causing killing and wounding in their ranks, including ground militant leader.

He pointed out that the Houthi militia is trying to advance, to raise the morale of its collapsed elements, but it fails every time in front of the valor of the national army.
