Hadramout,,, National Army seizes 500 kgs of Hashish bound for Houthi rebels

The national army forces on Sunday seized 500 kilograms of Hashish in the town of al-Abr in the province of Hadramout while on its way to areas controlled by the Iran-backed Houthi militia.

The 23rd Infantry Brigade Commander, Brig. Gen. Abdullah Ma’azab, confirmed to “September Net”, that a brigade patrol was able Sunday afternoon, to detect and seize a truck carrying  500 kilograms cannabis bound for the Houthi militia.

He praised the high security vigilance of the military patrols that work around the clock.

” We are working very hard to arrest wanted elements and control criminal gangs that smuggle arms and drugs,” he said.

He also said that military units of the brigade is doing their best to maintain security and stability and preserve public tranquility.
