Army forces shot down on Sunday a bomb-laden drone for the Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia in Murais, northern Al-Dhale province.

A military source told “September Net” that the army’s air defenses shot down the drone while flying over the sky of the area.

The source explained that the booby-trapped plane is Iranian-made, and that it is called by the Houthi militia “Samad 4”, pointing out that the army detonated it before it could reach its target.

Earlier in February, army forces also shot down two drones fired by the militia at army positions in the same front.
