Presidential Decree Appointing Commander for Second Military Region

The president of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, issued Sunday Presidential Decree No. (236) of 2026.

Article One of the decree stipulates the appointment of Brigadier General Amer Abdullah Mohammed Bin Hutyan as Commander of the Second Military Region, and his promotion to the rank of Major General.

Article Two stipulates that the decree shall enter into force as of the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette and military bulletins.
