Several Iran-backed Houthi rebel militia were killed, injured Thursday in battles with Yemeni armed forces south of Marib province.

Army forces targeted groups of Houthi militiamen who were trying to infiltrate into army positions in Al-Mashireef, Jabal Murad and Rahba fronts, and forced them to flee, killing and injuring a number of them.

In the context, army artillery shelled the Houthi militia reinforcements in various positions in Serwah fronts, killing and injuring a number of militants and destroying their combat vehicles.

Meanwhile, Arab coalition fighters bombed Houthi militia groups and destroyed their combat vehicles in al-Malajim district north of Al-Bayda province.
