Army liberates strategic areas in Nihm

National Army has, on Tuesday, regained control over strategic key mountains chain ‘Al-Dere’ and ‘Karn Wada’a’, and manage to finish liberating ‘Al-Madfone’ areas, in Nihm front eastern the capital Sana’a.

A military source told September Net, the army forces launched a massive attack at dawn on the positions and gatherings of the militia, resulted in liberating the mentioned sites, the killing of 26 elements and the wounding of dozens from the Houthi rebels.

“The coup militia planted explosives at positions to hamper the advancing army, but with determination the troops overcame that,” said the sources.

They pointed out that the clashes still taking place, amid withdrawal of the militia that left its bodies and wounded members behind them at the battlefield.
