National Army makes significant advances west of Sa’ada

National army troops have liberated on Monday new strategic positions following fierce battles against Iran-backed Houthi militia in the district of Shada in the west of Sa’ada province.

Ground source said to September Net that the army forces backed by Arab Coalition warplanes launched an offensive on positions held by the Houthi rebels in the district of Shada in which the army opened the 5th front in the province.

The armed forces managed to retake control over the mountains of “Ka’ab Algaber” and the village of “Alhasamah” which are the first areas of the district.

Tens Houthi militiamen were killed and wounded as well as several cambat vehicles were destroyed as a result of the ground battles and Coalition’s airstrikes, added the source.

The source confirmed that the battles are still continuing amid collapsing of the Houthi militias.
