National army forces fired on Friday heavy artillery shelling on sites of Houthi coup militia in the front of Makbanah western Taiz province.

The artillery shelling hit the militiamen at al-Ahtoop mountain, inflicting them heavy losses in life and equipment.

In parallel, Heavy clashes erupted between the army forces and Houthi coupists in the area of Al-Robe’e and the mountain of Al-Mon’em in Althabab front western the city . A number of Houthi rebels were killed and wounded during the fighting.
