September Net

The Houthi rebel militia has again disrupted internet service in the western province of Hodeidah.

Local sources confirmed to the September Net that the Houthi militia has completely disconnected the Internet service on the population in the province.

“Cutting the Internet coupled with indiscriminate rocket shelling of civilian communities in various parts of the province,” the sources said.

In early November, Houthi  completely disrupted the Internet as national army was advancing towards Hodeidah. But the United  Nations has intervened to stop this progress toward the city, and signed an agreement in Sweden involving a ceasefire and withdrawal of the militia from the city.

Houthi militia has been breaking that agreement since it start in December 2018, refusing to cease fighting and pulling out its militants from the city.
