Houthi militia’s coup against the legitimate government in Yemen has triggered the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.

You may have heard this statement many times, but did you understand the pain embodies in it? If not, then you will understand when see thousands of families are being displaced and homeless.

Many rounds of negotiations held in a bid to solve the situation but, in every attempt, Houthi militia proves that they can’t be dealt with as political fiction, rather they are terrorist militias don’t believe in peace choices and don’t know anything about political and humanitarian work system.

It does not stop there, but Houthis continue to use mines everywhere. Mines planted under the desert sands, amid rubble, inside schools, universities and homes.

But the location of these planted mines remains unknown and will remain a threat to the lives of Yemenis.

Project for Landmine Clearance MASAM ​​teams have made great efforts, removing more than 71,000 mines and unexploded ordnance. The efforts of the engineering teams of the national army have also recently been able to remove a large number of mines and improvised explosive devices in various forms in Al-Buka’a in Saada province

During the past year, mine-laying has caused the deaths of 615 civilians, including 110 children and 26 women, and 924 people, including 168 children.

Houthi group continues to endanger the lives of Yemenis through its crimes. There are, however, efforts to repel Houthi’s terrorism.
