A landmine planted by the Houthi militia injured two citizens in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen on Monday.

Local sources told September Net that a landmine planted by the Houthi militia inside a citizen’s farm in Al-Shaqab area, east of Saber Al-Mowadem district.

The sources pointed out that the explosion resulted in the injury of two citizens, one of whom had his leg cut off, while the other was moderately injured, bringing the death toll of mines in the area to 17.

The total number of violations committed by the Houthi militia in the Shaqab area has totaled 7,132 since the beginning of the war.
