National Army forces have made new progress on Sunday during a sudden attack against positions of coup militias in Qania front in Yemen central province, Al-Bayda.

The national army was able to impose its control over the first security checkpoint in Afar area, a military source told September Net.

The army forces have also entirely secured and cleared the region of Yasbel from the rebels.

Scores of militias were killed and injured, one element was captured and the rest fled the battlefield, according to the source.
